It started with a pumpkin.
Founder Marie Ange Mukagahima grew up in Rwanda’s Southern Province. As a university student in 2017, she baked her first pumpkin bread — and saw how much of Africa’s nutrition was being lost between the farm and the table.

Zima Healthy Group Ltd is founded to scale value-added processing in Rwanda.

1,350+ farmers reached, 32 people, serving Rwanda, East Africa and selected international markets.
